Cranberry Walnut Bars
1/4 cup softened margarine (or butter) 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/4 cup flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1 cup chopped fresh or frozen cranberries 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Cream margarine and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Fold in cranberries and nuts. Spread in greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 deg. F for 30-35 minutes. Cut into bars while still slightly warm.
