We offer a wide variety of soils and soil amendments, as well as quality Art Knapp’s private label fertilizers, to help improve any garden situation. Our sandy soils can be a challenge to gardeners; some of us are faced with heavy clay soils and more of us are now gardening in containers. Buy in bulk and save! Our bulk bins offer the following products. All can be purchased by the bag, or by the scoop. Our Kubota tractor bucket holds a half yard of material, easily loaded into your pickup truck, or delivered right to your address with our service.

SOIL AMENDMENTS-make your garden soil more productive.

Peat Soil-a tremendous source of organic material for any garden soil. This is rich, black peat full of nutrients and harvest locally.

Mushroom Compost-another great product to add nutrition and texture to soils. Works great as a mulch and adds to soils as it breaks down.

Topsoil-a wonderful mix of topsoil and peat soil, ideal for creating new garden beds, for seeding new lawns or top dressing existing turf.

You’ll find a wide variety of fertilizers and amendments under the shadehouse. We feature our private label Art Knapp’s fertilizers for your lawn and for various applications in the garden. Our Art Knapp’s Planter Box soil is the ideal growing medium for container gardens. We also carry the popular Nature’s Gold potting soil, compost fertilizer and fertilizer mulch, as well as Premium Horticulture growing media and baled peat. You’ll also find bagged steer manure and earthworm castings.

ART KNAPP’S FERTILIZERS

FABULAWN 24-4-16 Fast acting and long lasting, formulated to provide beautiful, hard-wearing turf. Contains 40% slow release nitrogen from polymer coated urea, which feeds gradually and evenly over a long period of time. Also has iron to promote healthy green colour. Available in a “weed and feed” formulation to apply from May to September when lawn weeds are actively growing.

LAWN TREAT 13-5-7 An excellent early spring lawn fertilizer, with 25% slow release nitrogen and added iron. Helps early spring lawns to come out of dormancy.

LAWN STARTER 14-28-8 Perfect for new lawns, apply on your soil prior to seeding or laying sod. Contains 40% slow release nitrogen and a high phosphorus content to promote healthy roots.

ALL PURPOSE PLANT FOOD 6-8-6 An excellent well-balanced fertilizer, with Sustane Natural Organic Base, rich in natural organic nutrients. Use in spring and summer for flowers, vegetables, fruit, lawns and shrubs.

VEGETABLE & TOMATO FOOD 8-20-20 Promotes vigorous growth, healthy root systems and bountiful harvests. Extra nutrients for good flower and fruit production and nutritious vegetables. High in potash for strong stems and for aiding in development and ripening of vegetables.

ANNUAL & PERENNIAL FLOWER FOOD 8-12-14 For beautiful blossoms and healthy growth, with 20% Sustance Natural Organic Base. Last for weeks in the garden.

TREE, SHRUB & HEDGE FOOD 18-4-8 Specially formulated for deciduous trees and evergreens. Micronutrients increase stress tolerance and health. Contains 75% slow release nitrogen for long-lasting feeding. Use three times during the growing season.

BONE MEAL 2-14-0 100% pure bone meal to help plants develop strong, healthy roots. Use when transplanting and in fall when planting bulbs.
